Will the Benghazi Survivors Please Stand Up

I was doing another nightly episode of my radio show The Matthew Brower Show.  I proposed a question to my co host Chris Miller and to make my listeners and all Americans to think about this.  Where are all the Benghazi survivors from the attack on the United States Embassy?  Where are all the heroic Americans that help other Americans to safety.  How did around 30 Americans survive around 125 to 150 reported armed attackers onto the American embassy?

Can anyone explain how only four people died in this?  How 30 Americans survived this and we are not hearing any heroic stories of American courage to escape the carnage?  I guess we will never hear anything from the Obama administration on this.  I know the same Barack Obama that claimed his administration would be the most transparent administration in the history of the Presidency.  Another failure to launch you could say.

We have pictures of multiple vehicles burning and burnt to the ground and the whole embassy destroyed by mortar fire, grenades, gun fire, and other weapons fire.  Where are the other over 30 survivors of this attack?  It has been months since this occurred and no one is asking the hard question where are they, what do you they know, and why are they being silenced?  There are many questions that have not been answered and this occurred just before a Presidential election.  This would have not played very well if this was correctly portrayed as an actual coordinated attack.

As Hillary Clinton does her best deflection job of not actually answering questions and using her famous "With all due respect, the fact is, we had four dead Americans! Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they'd go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?"  Well Hillary is does make a difference because we need to know what actually happened here because millions of Americans think you are planning to run for President and millions of Americans see you as unfit to lead.  You left your post as Secretary of State to run away from this to distance yourself from what will take you down.  One question Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration does not want to answer is where are the these 30 plus survivors and did they really survive at all?

So we are being told that only four people died and many of them with no weapons and somehow miraculously escaped after hours of a fire fight with well over 100 armed terrorists.  Senator McCain was demanding a few weeks ago for the Obama administration to release the names of the survivors and it was also reported that the committee formed by Hillary Clinton to interview and get more information on what happened has not even directly interviewed the survivors.  Here is my logical conclusion to all of the information.  The one that the Obama administration and no one in the media is saying.  Those survivors if any did not survive at all.  Just look at the pictures of the destruction, no one coming forward, and no names.  This is much more than a cover up and I will continue to question this on my show and in social media.

Republican Irony

We have a major issue in the Republican Party right now and it showed it's true colors this week.  The Speaker of the House John Boehner after saying that he would allow the American people to review the deal before voting on it lied to the American people in Nancy Pelosi style politics.  It was another example of late night politics when most people are either sleeping or doing something else like watching football or evening television.  This is becoming the norm in politics now in The United States of America.

The Fiscal Cliff vote included 151 Republicans voting for it and 85 voting against it, but that is just the beginning.  In order to prevent the Speaker of the House from being Nancy Pelosi, we know the Democrats in the House would vote for her solid, a majority of Republicans stuck with the same ole John Boehner.  We got a raw deal in this deal and of course there was pork spending in it.  Why wouldn't there be right?  Put it to a vote just minutes after it is completed so they needed to pass it last minute to prevent a supposed meltdown of our economy.  Just another scare tactic.

Kicking the can down the road is not the solution to fix our nation, but it is the way for these politicians to keep themselves in power.  Once you realize that one day this house of cards will fall and the soon we fix it the better off we will be.  I am realist and see us spending trillions on social programs and other nation's military welfare and we have nothing to show for it.  Just millions more being added to the role of welfare state and our politicians are allowing it rather than stopping it.

Welfare abuse all around us and no one from either parties leadership coming out to admit it.  They keep feeding the sheep more lies and more money to keep quiet.  They are economic slaves and they are alright with it as long as they are paid off.  The economic house of cards it going to fall sooner or later because running up over $3 billion in new debt a day over a $1 trillion in new debt a year and that is in a year!  How can anyone in their right mind not see that is unsustainable?  Apparently we have millions of Americans from all economic classes, races, sexes, and religions simply do not understand there is a problem.  I hope and pray that there will be an awakening of either a new party that represents the American Dream or common sense for that matter.

Is it Time to Reinvent the GOP?

The question after the loss in the 2012 Presidential election is that is it time to reinvent the GOP?  Many people in the media are saying the the Republican Party needs to change with the times.  I agree in a way with this and have thought of this for a long time. In order to win elections you need a majority of the votes in the election to win right?  So it's time to get more people in the Republican Party and time to change leadership to make that happen.

The leadership of the Republican Party tow the social issue line on abortion and while I do not support it this social issue turns people away even though you may agree on most of the issues in our country.  While abortion is seen as something that is terrible to many Americans and even other Americans may not agree with it, but are not willing to try to overturn Roe v. Wade because women will try to get abortions even if it is against the law.  It should be safe for women that get them even though you do not agree with it.

I have a view on this and many Americans may have the same view, but are not as willing to say it.  While I do not support abortion and it is legal at this time women that have this procedure done have to answer to their God at the end of their lives.  We have free will in our lives and if someone chooses that option then they will have to live with that decision for the rest of their lives.  While the Republican Party is talking about overturning the decision by the Supreme Court it scares people to the Democrats because of this social issue.  Let us practice our religion and our beliefs, but not scare away people that are fiscally conservative and want to be on our side if it was not for this issue.  In addition our tax payer money should not be used for abortion since that is an elective procedure.

The Republican Party needs to do a better job selling conservative economic values and the value or work.  If conservatives want to get the government out of the welfare business we need to get more involved in our communities so the government is not needed to prop up millions of people.  Republicans have for decades allowed the government to expand the welfare state and have not spoken up to get churches, non profits, and charities more involved in taking care of social issues at the local community level.  Many politicians either want their name on a building, a piece of legislation, or be popular rather than doing the tough job of keeping our country out of a nanny welfare state that will eventually collapse our economy.

The Republican Party needs to be more welcoming to gays and lesbians.  I know this may be a shocker to many people, but you probably know a gay or lesbian, but they have not come out yet.  It is time to be welcoming to these people and treat them as Americans instead of a sexual preference.  In regards to gay marriage I do not thing gay marriage should be in this nation and I will explain why.  Marriage was created as a religious institution and should remain that way.  The government started to adopt it and started to make money on it with fees and taxing it.  If you get married that should be in religious and if it crosses over to the government it should be considered with the government as a civil union.  Gays and lesbians have civil union rights in many states and if they choose that then they have made their choice.  Civil unions are the answer since many religious groups do not want "marriage" involved in the issue.

I have been a Republican for many years myself and it is time to be more inclusive in the party if it is to survive.  We are Americans and it is time to band together to save our nation from a financial collapse.  Because if our nation collapses under the weight of social welfare and bad economic policies then we all lose.

Voting is the Best Revenge

On November 2nd President Obama's reelection campaign went off script again and now the President is asking people to for vote for "revenge."  Let's first look at the definition of revenge that I reviewed it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revenge and it shows "Revenge is a harmful action against a person or group in response to a grievance, be it real or perceived."  The anger of the Obama campaign is now reaching its peak as revenge.  Revenge from what you may ask?  What has Mitt Romney done to Barack Obama or the American people to invoke revenge?  Seems once again President Obama is desperate to get votes so when a crowd boos Mitt Romney he has to invoke the word revenge.

President Obama has accumulated another $6 trillion in debt, unemployment rate at 7.9% for those actually counted and that number is not a real indication of show bad it really is.  That 7.9% number is a number that does not include under employeed, people that have had their unemployment benefits run out, people that took part time work, or those people that have given up looking for work.  Those are what President Obama will not touch and why would he right?  Running on his record would not get him reelected at all, but he has to use people with "revenge" as a motivation to vote for him.

President Obama has showed anger in this election along with his Vice President Joe Biden.  President Obama cannot run on Obamacare because many of the taxes and fees are about to start and he doesn't want the election to be about that accomplishment.  That is why he continues to use Big Bird, Elmo, and now revenge.  A person running from his record will try to deflect attention from what really matters.  The debt is out of control and the President is not telling us how he will get us out of it with real answers.  Saying I will cut some here and tax the rich over there is not reality.  It is playing politics as usual, but with class warfare this time.  Demonizing success is not American, but this election is about The United States of America and the future of our nation.

The future of our nation is on the line and not an angry President deflecting what the issues are.  Over 47 million people on food stamps and over 15 million of them are added on his watch.  Why does he ignore this and not address it?  He doesn't want to remind people on how he expanded the social welfare state and has no plan to get people off of food stamps and allows the USDA to continue expanding the program with more Chinese debt.  President Obama wants to have people on government assistance and if did not he would not allow it to expand this much and would have not laughed at the not so shovel ready jobs.  Spending all that money for nothing and laughing at it.  Our economy is not a joke, but this election is about revenge.  The President is out for revenge, but on who?

Once again the Obama reelection advertisements set new lows.  This time using children to push their agenda of madness.  Throughout history propaganda has been used to influence children since their so impressionable so why not use children in this way.  Trying to get parents guilt vote this year because the President can't stop campaigning while Americans die in the name of progress for this administration.

President Obama has acquired over $6 trillion in new debt in under four years, but the President is not asked by the media what have the American people bought with all of this debt?  Are there any fixed assets for this money that was spent or will these children in this video be the butt of the joke for some more not so shovel ready jobs as the President laughed at.  The President of the United States of America Barack Obama laughed at wasting a Trillion dollars on jobs there were not there.  He wasted our children's futures on a bet.

I just want to break down this little gem of an ad.  In this ad the kids say "and lots of Chinese stuff" so I propose this question to the Obama administration that is way to scared to answer anything of substance.  How about those trillions in Chinese debt to fund this social welfare experience?  We are drowning in Chinese debt right now so don't try to play off the real Chinese debt problem.  Debt is dangerous to a free society because someone has to pay and economic freedom drives a nation or can bring it down when it is limited.

Also, it wouldn't be an Obama ad without bringing up Big Bird.  The President is desperate to win and cannot run on a record of success.  President Obama continues to pander to people to get votes without explaining all of the failures of his administration.  Failure of 1 in 6 in poverty, an additional 15 million on food stamps and plan to get them off of it, and $6 trillion in new debt and nothing to show for it.  The President has failed and he is using children because he is absolute desperate to win and won't accept he has failed.

President Obama said if he can't get this turned around in three years then it would be a one term proposition and now he asking for more time.  More time for what Mr. President?  More time to go over $20 trillion in debt after you promised to cut the debt by half.  More time after you promised to lower unemployment to around 5%, but we have this falsified 7.8% unemployment rate that does not include people that have run out of their unemployment benefits, dropped out of the labor force because they cannot find work, or they have part time work and are not counted as underemployed.  The President has failed and his vision of "Forward" will destroy our nation.  So we must move "Forward" without Barack Obama as the President.

I saw a video that was very concerning to me and other Americans.  This video is a typical left wing democrat attempt to say women should vote for another four years of President Obama by saying I will give your more free stuff.  Free stuff is not truly free first of all.  Someone has to pay for your way and that is theft by the government by the I.R.S.  Theft by extortion because if you don't pay your taxes you can be penalized with interest, more penalties, and even jail time in some cases.  

Free birth control is not a right.  If you are going to engage in sexual activity no one should be paying for your birth control except yourself.  You want to do the "deed" it is on you to pay for your own.  I am absolutely tired of this so called "war on women" because if you want to do something go ahead and earn it.  Get a job with good health insurance to pay for your birth control or find a company that offers birth control as an option in their insurance programs.  You don't have a right to my money to get your freebies.  Another leftists that is willing to vote for someone to take from someone else's family.

Free healthcare is another item that is not really free.  Taking money from my family to support someone else that is not willing to get an education or job training to get a better job is wrong.  That is called communism.  Taking from one group to give to another group without earning it is simply wrong.  Take personal responsibility and do better for yourself.  Save money in case if there is an emergency.  Get a job that has good benefits and stop counting on someone else to pay for your way.  One day and that day is coming soon, when there will not be enough other people's money to go around, not enough Chinese debt to fund it, and people will stop trying to do more because the motivation for many will be gone since more and more of their money is being taken away.

President Obama is simply trying to deflect his record of $6 trillion in more debt and nothing to show for it.  At least nothing that President Obama wants to brag about.  The President continues hide what happened in Fast and Furious when Americans and Mexicans died with guns bought and given away by the United States government to drug cartels.  President Obama will not answer to why we did not try defend our embassy in Libya and allowed four Americans to die and won't come out and called it for what it is and that is a terrorist attack.  It is time to vote out President Obama and get people back to work so they can get their own paycheck instead of a welfare check and stop this social welfare experiment that has failed and put our nation's financial security in jeopardy.

Elmo and the White Suburban

President Obama was in San Francisco this week and wanted to make a joke at a campaign rally.  Of course this joke that President Obama wanted to make was not on script or teleprompter.  The President in his almighty wisdom wants to be somewhat funny, but all he did was make many more American's wonder why he continues to try to make jokes while millions of Americans are suffering.

Let's break it down the President's joke about Elmo and the White Suburban.  The joke was meant as a comeback to Mitt Romney's statement in the debate that he will cut funding to PBS if he is elected as President this fall.  President Obama said that Elmo is driving to the border in a White Suburban.  While many people think it was an O.J. Simpson joke I really feel it wasn't at all.  San Francisco is very well known as a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.  The driving for the border by Elmo is just another gaff by the President in a well known sanctuary city.

Second, let's break down the White Suburban comment that the President made.  Another hidden meaning in this case.  The President is talking about white suburban people.  Think about the words in a sanctuary city talking about driving for the border and mentioning a white suburban vehicle.  The suburban a well known soccer mom vehicle in the suburbs of America.  Words have meanings and he used that white suburban comment off script and off teleprompter once again showing his true thought process.  

Third, many people may or may not be aware that Elmo's voice is actual done by a Kevin Clash who is an African American puppeteer and voice actor.  Don't think the President did not have has this on his mind when he used Elmo.  Why not use Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, or any other character for that matter.  The President made a decision to use Elmo in this case.  We must watch our politicians very carefully and the words they speak because you can get a glimpse into what they are thinking when they are off script or teleprompter in this case.

Why would President Obama be so specific in picking a "white suburban", "Elmo", "driving to the border", and of all places in San Francisco a well known sanctuary city known for protecting illegal aliens.  This break down of his statement can be very revealing into the mind of President Obama.  The President is known as a very well educated person so we have take him at his words right?  It is time to listen to the President and figure out the meanings of his words and I figured out his words as soon as he said this statement.  Watch the video and you will see what I am saying.  He was trying to figure out what to say and those were his words.  

The election is fast approaching and it is time to use our education and make a choice for the direction of The United States of America.  I encourage you to learn more about your candidates for President.  This election is important for our lives and future generations.  

President Obama and his tweet

I was reading on twitter this morning and saw a "featured tweet" from President Obama. It's always nice to see how twitter thinks I want to know what President Obama wants to say (being sarcastic). Even though I don't particularly want to know what President Obama says I always want to know what the competition is up to.

I saw the tweet from President Obama of @mattbrower26: “@BarackObama: This election is too important to sit out. Register to vote before it's too late: http://t.co/gBOYqdtn” so I just had to retweet it! I did retweet it, but I included my own little message at the end. It was just one of those moments where you want to thank the President for giving you something you can use. I put "vote republican" on the tweet. It's just my public service to our nation.

After President Obama's less than spectacular debate results this week he should definitely regroup. Just tell us what you believe in. Don't candy coat it, but tell us how you want to change out nation forever with millions out of work and joining the welfare roles. A Marxist is a Marxist no matter how you spell it. His actions as President and his past show it. Sealing your records along with your wife's records is not the transparency we were looking for you. It is time to show us the items you are hiding so the American people can to know you little better!

We must vote on November 6th and show the President we are done with this fantasy Utopia society he is trying to create will destroy our nation! You have run out of money and time. People are suffering and you are running around on talk shows while we have Americans giving their lives on our borders and in other nations. They are giving their lives in vain for a President with a vanity problem!

Christian and Democrat

I saw this in the Lakeland Ledger newspaper in it's October 2nd, 2012 edition.  When I saw this opinion piece and it's title I just had to read it, even for it's comedic title.  I am going to give you little break down of this opinion piece because I feel this person is definitely on the wrong team in terms of political party.  Not all political parties or people are perfect, but this has to be addressed.

This person outlined why she is a Democrat even though she is a Christian.  The first bullet says she believes in what the Bible says about homosexuality and abortion.  So you believe those are wrong, but you willfully show your support for a party that actively support these practices.  This person is willing to vote for a President that once did share your belief in marriage between one man and one woman, but he all of sudden evolved his beliefs in an election year?  As for abortion the President and his Democrat Party support abortion on demand rather than practicing personal responsibility by not sleeping around and taking precautions to prevent pregnancy.  If you vote for this then you condone it because it is what they talk about and support.

Next, she believes in the Bible telling people to help those in need.  So the government should just take whatever it deems necessary to help those people it believes that are in need of your money?  This is the backwards thinking that has allowed our nation to be taxed so hard to buy the loyalty of those on welfare.  The Bible did not say for the government to take to become a forced charity and if you don't pay your forced charity gift you could end up paying fines, penalties, or even jail time.  If you truly believe in helping people then give out of the kindness of your heart and stop forcing people by taxing them.  Once again some personal responsibility would be great and also allowing non profits, charities, and churches to get involved with helping people on a local level to get them to a better place.  The government is not interested in you personally, but only filled with people ready to get power and keep it.  Local issues require local people to step up and do the right thing and get government out of it.

She also wants to talk about freedom.  I believe in freedom in our great nation so let's talk about freedom for a moment.  President Obama and the Democrats said you are going to be able to keep your doctor with Obamacare.  Many doctors are already not taking new Medicare and Medicaid insured people because the reimbursements are too low and not cost effective to keep seeing these people.  So keeping your freedom of choice for doctors is not true under that insurance plan.  Let's also talk about freedom in general.  If you have freedom to do everything then why have laws.  Supporting the Democrats freedom grab in healthcare if wrong.

If you feel the Democrats or the President are on the side of Israel you are wrong again. President Obama preferred to be on The View rather than meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The President is more concerned with keeping his power rather than meeting with the only true democracy in the Middle East.  The President is not being tough on Iran and it's leaders that have publicly said they want to wipe Israel off the map.  That is the President and the Democrats in action.

Finally, the Bible does not tell us to follow leaders that are not following principles that we do not believe in.  Many times in the Bible Christians were killed because they would not bow to false idols or false gods.  The Democrat Convention had a part where people actually "boo" God.  Really this is the party that shares your Christian beliefs?  The nanny state of providing for people that do not take responsibility for their own actions.  A party that removed God from it's platform at the start of the convention you feel shares your Christian values?  The question at the end of the day is what is the price of your freedom worth because freedom has different definitions especially with this woman in Florida.

Theft of a Nation

When someone steals from you or your family you call the police right?  But who do you call when the government steals your money to give it someone else?  Well that's when you need to call upon great American's to run for political office to stop the theft of the American people.

It is time to bring back citizen representatives again in our political process.  We need to focus on people that not only will promise to do the right thing, but when they are under pressure from their political party or special interests they do not buckle and break their promises to those that voted for them.  Promises are just that promises and we have allowed too many politicians to break them, but we continue to reelect them.  We not only reelect them we elect them to higher positions to acquire more power and the ability to take more of our money.

When I interview candidates I ask them questions on my radio show.  I want to hear them give their thoughts on the issues and allow people to decide for themselves.  I allow them to share what they would do to turn things around in their local communities, states, and our great nation.  We don't have much time left to turn this around so we must be educated on who will lead us into the future.  The future decisions that will not only affect us, but will affect generations to come is coming so be prepared to make educated decisions when choosing our elected officials.

This November you will be choosing people to represent you, your family, friends, and neighbors.  I hope and pray that everyone that goes out to vote did their homework.  Homework is something that most people dreaded in school, but now we must do our homework or our nation will fail it's greatest test.  The greatest nation on the face of the Earth can go down in history like many other great civilizations.  Will you be one of those that allowed this to happen?  I hope not so do your homework and tell others to be educated on the candidates because the consequences can last beyond your lifetime.

Politics and Religion

Alright the title says it all and that is something that so many people say that you should not talk about. Politics and religion are those touchy subjects that people say not to talk about around the dinner table, around strangers, or at work for that matter.  So I guess our country has been taught that discussing the hot issues of the day might "offend" someone and you might just be carrying about a "brown box" from work.

It is truly sad that we live a in supposed free nation where the exchange of ideas was once one of the great things that separated us from the monarchies or the dictatorships of the world.  The United States of America has been molded into a nation of keep your mouth shut before you offend someone.  Well guess what?  Keeping my mouth shut offends me because our nation is failing because we can't talk politics or religion for that matter.

We cannot point out that extremist countries in the Middle East are "holding onto their guns and religion" while in our country President Obama made fun of Christians that believe in the 2nd Amendment and their religious beliefs that they hold dear.  Maybe President Obama should go to Mecca and go ahead and give his holding onto your guns and religion speech and see show that works out for him.  Now, that I have pointed that out, maybe I will be on the list of people that are on President Obama's attackwatch.com list.

I believe that we need to have the tough political discussions while we still have time to do so.  We are approaching an important Presidential election and need to talk about what issues face our nation and who is going to be "our leader" to get us out of this economic situation.  Don't get me wrong the President does not control the entire economy, but the President is the face of our nation and the world is always watching what the President is going to do or not do for that matter.

If you don't talk about religion I can understand since we do not live in a society that will kill you for not being with the "state sanctioned religion," but it is time that we discuss the issues that are affecting us in politics.  Politics surround us and we need to talk about the issues of the day before the issues we are talking about are $10 a gallon gasoline, $10 milk, and how we remembered the good old days of the 2010's.  It can happen my friends.  We must work on electing people that will turn this around.

A debt that has passed $16 trillion dollars and the President will not acknowledge it on late night T.V.  Ignorance is not bliss especially when our nation borrows over $3 billion a day to pay for our government to run welfare programs that we simply cannot afford, wars that we should have won years ago, and inefficient government that our politicians prop up with Chinese debt and inflation by printing more money.  The House of Cards if almost falling down and it is up to us to start talking about politics now before it is too late!

Opt in or Opt out!

Recently the Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg got his wish to ban sugary drinks above 16 oz. These sugary sodas cannot be served or the restaurant can face substantial fines if they do so.  Now this is a great example of the government opting you in to their new law without you having any choice in the matter.  This is another example of the nanny state jumping in to save us from ourselves and treating New Yorker's once again as fools that cannot judge for themselves.

Now the good mayor of New York City finds it o.k. to give your daughters birth control on demand.  Now if you want to actually have control over the medications your child takes you will have to "opt out" of this program.  The irony is most schools make you sign a consent form to give your child medicine for headaches, but they will hand out birth control to your daughter's without a second thought.  You have to opt out to get control of your child's ability to get "free", which is another government handout, medication that can actually in some cases cause health problems without a parent's consent.

I just find this totally disturbing.  We do not teach our children in public schools to wait on sex at all.  We empower them with free condoms and birth control so they can run off and get some STD's or even pregnant since most children are not responsible enough to take the medication they are given behind their parents' backs anyways.  Why should we be surprised anyways right?  We have a nanny state that continues to give away our hard earned money on programs like this rather than try to teach some self control in our children's lives.

You can't get a soda from a restaurant that is over 16 oz. without possibly getting fined, but your kid can get free condoms and birth control on the taxpayer dime with no consent?  If you tired of our of control nanny state government then start to teaching your kids the right thing and vote out these controlling politicians that think you are too lazy and too stupid to take care of your own family.  I encourage you to go to the polls and send a message of we are tired of being robbed to pay for bad behavior of others and politicians this November!

My Town Hall Experience

I had the honor of speaking at the town hall meeting at Rocking H Ranch in Lakeland, Florida on September 22nd.  First of all, it was my wife's birthday and she is the one that said I should be there for this event on her birthday.  I appreciate my wife's support as I try to educate the public on voter responsibility, candidates, and how we can make our nation great.

The town hall had a wide assortment of speakers including people that use to live in Cuba and Venezuela and they shared their experiences after the take over of their governments by dictators.  It was very revealing and scary that one day you are living your everyday life and all of a sudden your world is turned upside down because you were successful and the government finds that you are a threat.  If you have an education or wealth you are seen as a threat to the "dictator" or "leader" that is trying to pander to the poor or supposed disfranchised of a society then you are a threat.   The speakers were trying to give a warning to the audience that it can happen here and they see it coming.

There were also candidates political races for County Commission, Circuit Judge, and State Senate also.  We even got to hear from Kira Stickney, a 14 year old student, that shared her concerns with the $16 trillion dollar debt and how her family has been affected during these past few years.  A truly great event where many great Americans from the local community came together to have an open discussion on the issues that we face together as Americans.

Nick Wukoson who is a tea party speaker, writer, and former Florida House candidate during his speech shocked the crowd when he said that he read the entire Obamacare bill, as the bill was actually upfront completely printed out, and revealed shocking details about it.  One of the socking points of Nick's speech was how over 2000 pages of this bill was put out there and in 22 hours they had to vote on it.  Simply scary to think we have a government that is out control to this point.

It was a great honor for me to speak at the town hall about the importance of local elections.  These elections help determine how our communities are ran, but also can propel some politicians careers.  I shared with the audience that we must ask bold questions and get answers from our elected officials and even when they are candidates so we can stop the ones that are unfit to lead from acquiring power.  If we can do that on the local level then we can prevent them from moving up the ranks to higher political office that may affect us on a nation level in the future.

It is our responsibility as Americans to vote and be a part of the process and not a part of the problem.  The problem of voter apathy and lack of voter education.  Guessing on candidates on election day without doing your homework.  I will not tell you how to vote, but I will tell you what I know and you can make your own decision on election day.  It is about vote on someone's character, principles, and record.  If you do not understand the motivation of someone that is running for political office then you are voting blindly.  Always understand the motivation for someone's actions and who they are because they can affect you, your family, your friends, and your community for many years to come even after they leave office.
